Reading
When reading for homework, you need to read for 30 minutes. The book you read is your choice. However, it should be a book that is at your "Just Right" level. Reading a book that is too easy or too hard for homework does not help you become a better reader.
Writing a Summary
Write a summary on what you read for homework. Your summary should be 1/2 of a page (or 11 full lines) in your Writing Notebook. Be sure that your sentences are complete, that you've used correct grammar, and that you have spelled all words to the best of your ability.

Math: Simple Solutions
Complete the math problems assigned for the lesson assigned. There are "Help" pages in the back of the book. If you can't remember how to solve a problem you can look at these Help pages. You can also go on the site mathisfun.com. There are videos and tutorials on how to work every kind of math problem.
